(Optimist Building) \nCost: $339.00 ($300 + HST) \n• E-transfer to: tracymclellan1@gmail.com (include security answer) \nThis is a two day introductory course to drystone walling that will cover all of the basic components of the trade\, including but not limited to\, how to construct a sturdy dry stone wall and proper use of tools. \nThis is a beginners course open to tradesmen\, landscapers\, masons\, homeowners and anyone looking to get a start in the craft. \nThis is a new wall being constructed at the optimist in addition to the existing wall previously built. \nThe course and certification are rain or shine events. Please dress for the weather. Appropriate safety wear is required: steel-toe boots\, eye protection\, and gloves if desired (recommended). All tools will be provided for the course. Learn proper construction of a drystone cellar from base stones\, through stones up to the woodwork involved. \nThe is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the weather.
