Dean McLellan has been involved in dry stone walling from an early age. He watched his grandfather in Lafontaine Ontario construct walls without the use of mortar and then also use those same stones with mortar in a structural manner to create fireplaces, foundations, features and beautiful homes! As Dean grew in skill and age he managed to continue these same time
His work now takes him across Canada and even into Britain. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the most skilled stoneworkers the world has to offer. Dean has also been teaching dry stone walling and stone masonry in all these spots.
Dean is now the first and only certified Master Craftsman and Examiner in Canada recognized by the British Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain!!
He is also a professional member of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain and a certificated instructor.
